New for 2013
2013 is looking like a big year for us, we have changed the name of Mar Menor Sea School to go-n-sail in order to accommodate a relocation in September to our new tidal base in Ayamonte. The new go-n-sail site has been launched and we will be once again attending the Southampton Boat-Show. So please come along and say Hello you can find us on stand J105 in the Mayflower Hall.

Sailing Masterclass
Thinking of learning to sail or improve skills and reach the next level. Look no further, our low student instructor ratio of 3:1 on sailing courses guarantees you the very best learning experience. Many sailing schools teach 5 students per yacht which not only makes them cramped but also means that you are only involved part time. With our low student ratio you are involved nearly 100% of the time enhancing your learning experience, helping you get the most from your training provider.
Some schools offer a Sailing Masterclass at premium rates, but with Mar Menor Sea School every class is a Masterclass, our philosphy is simply to provide the very best training available making you a safer and better sailor.

New Year Resolutions
Every New Years Eve millions of resolutions are made, often many are broken within a few days if not sooner. But if this year you have promised to try something new and exciting, with the opportunity to travel and make new friends or maybe you have been dreaming of life on the Ocean waves, this could be your year to see that resolution through to the the end.
Our learn to sail courses start in April and go through until the end of October. Mar Menor Sea School will be having 2 intakes of Fastrack students for 8 week courses taking you from novice to Yachtmaster Coastal or from Coastal Skipper all the way to Yachtmaster Offshore.Intake dates for 2011 are the 17th April and 4th September.
For those looking to take one step at a time and learn following the more traditional route on the 5 day liveaboard weeks then that is fine by us, it just takes a little longer to produce the same results.
For more information on sail training or sailing in Spain please email Debbie, Skype us: gonsail or call 00 34 968 143 718 and leave a message and number and we will get back to you.

ICC 3 day course still popular
Congratulations to John and Eric the latest Mar Menor Sea School students to pass our 3 day ICC course. With some previous experience in yachting and dinghy sailing, both candidates worked hard and deserved to pass. The combination of theory and practical creates an interesting learning environment, giving student the opportunity to learn at their own pace with real life situations and experiences.
Well done guys and stay safe on the water, remember this is just the start and there is plenty more to learn.

Coastal Skipper training goes well
This week has been rather hectic for the students at Mar Menor Sea School, reasonable winds have led to challenging yet exhilarating sailing conditions. Coastal Skipper training has been in full swing and the guys have had to cope with numerous imaginary engine failures around the harbour and are now well practiced at sailing onto harbours walls and around anchorages. The man overboard buoy has also been extremely active and thankfully was succesfully recovered to live another day. The week has been intense but rewarding, the spinakker even made a guest appearance on the evening of the night sail.
Well one guys, you have been a pleasure to sail with.
