The 3 hour sailing trips are proving as popular as ever, with the mercury rising and temperatures becoming unbearable away from the coast, there really is no better trip out for the family.

Mazarron sailing trips

Our 3 hour sailing trips leaving from the Puerto Deportivo Mazarron have begun again and will run until the end of August. Just as in previous years trips are proving as popular as ever. Come along and get involved pulling a few lines or relax and soak up the sun before plunging into crystal clear waters or maybe enjoying a snorkelling experience with the fishes.

To join us, all that is needed is a towel, sense of humour and a mere 35€ per person, trips run everyday leaving from just in-front of the underground car park. Departure times are 10.30am and 15.30pm.

If your looking for a trip with a difference or to celebrate a special occasion, why not join us for a sunset cruise and enjoy a sun-downer as the day comes to a close with the sun sinking into the Mazarron hills.

Charter season in full swing

Our 3 hour sailing trips in Puerto de Mazarron are once again proving popular, if you have friends or family visiting this summer and are looking for a special day out, why not come sailing, experience a  boat trips and enjoy a swim in crystal clear waters. We have snorkelling equipment on board for those wishing to explore the underwater World and if you wish to take PADI courses or try diving we can arrange this for you.
Sailing around Mazarron offers a great view of the rugged coastline and gives a very different aspect of this interesting coastal town, its also much cooler on the water allowing you to escape the heat for a few hours. Trips cost 35€ per person, booking advisable, so give Debbie a call and experience what many describe as the highlight of their holiday.

El Rubicon arrives in Marbella

El Rubicon is safely tied up in Marina La Bajadilla in Marbella, our trip so far has been testing with strong winds. Taking the decision to leave Sunday night rather than Monday morning certainly paid off, we rounded Cabo de Gata with 40 knots behind us and the winds were due to increase, following a quick stop over in Almerimar we set off again much to the amazement of the marineros. We tucked the thrid reef in and weith the staysail hoisted El Rubicon handled the 30 knots winds and large swell admirably. Our intention was to head for Motril only to be told the harbour was closed due to foul weather, with little option other than marinas on lee shores, we pressed on through the night towards Marbella. It all fell into place as the winds and sea eased as we approached and awaekening this morning we are back to 25 knots across the deck in harbour with water crashing over the sea wall. Looking forward to a well earned paella, a couple of beers and siesta before setting off tomorrow for Estepona or Sotogrande. So far it has been a breezy trip with some great sailing, Will has helmed most of the way and is over the moon with the sailing experience so far, having done this trip numerous times we have never gotton this far so quickly having used around 3 ltrs of fuel, excellent sailing!!!

El Rubicon arrives in Mazarron

El Rubicon has made numerous visits into and around the Mazarron area over the last couple of weeks allowing us to meet up with the numerous friends and clients we have acquired over the last few seasons, booking are starting to take shape for the summer and it would appear that our 3 hour sailing trips remain as popular as ever. Currently in Yacht Port Cartagena, the yacht will be based in Puerto Deportivo Mazarron from Saturday 3rd July until the end of August, so if you fancy a few hours afloat, are looking for an interesting day out or are simply curious about sailing, give us a call and book a trip for only 35 Euros per head.
