Barcelona Boat Show a success

The organisors are praising themselves on there efforts and success of the 2010 show. Apparently attendance figures and boat sales are up on previous years, whether this is true or not only time will tell but it would be nice to see a step towards recovery of the Spanish nautical sector. They are predicting even more succes next year with the show celebrating its 50th year. Whilst very different to the UK shows, it is till worth a visit especially when combined with a few days in one of Spains most bustling Cities.

Barcelona Boat Show 2010

The Barcelona Boat Show or Salon Nautico as it is called in Spain runs between the 6th -14th November. This is Spains largest and most important nautical show, split between purpose made exhibition halls and floating exhibitions, bus connections take you straight from the airport to the venues so there is no need to drive around the City.
All main dealers will be exhibiting with plenty on offer to tempt your wallets, as with all Boat Shows there is something for everyone from shackles to Superyachts, so if you've been looking for an excuse to spend a few days in this vibrant and cultural City, this could be the excuse you have been looking for.
